I qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2000 and have been teaching yoga, including prenatal and postnatal classes, in Wanstead, London ever since. B.K.S. Iyengar’s Tree of Yoga forms the foundation of my teaching, and the Birthlight method inspires my approach to prenatal and postnatal yoga. Both philosophies emphasize the importance of community, a theme that has been woven into my work over the past 25 years. My teaching ethos, The Tree of Yoga, symbolizes the nurturing force of yoga—like a mother who carries us and supports our growth into adulthood. The roots ground us, the trunk keeps us centered, and the branches reach outward, seeking knowledge gained through life’s experiences. Yoga is a deeply personal practice, shaped by our individual journeys. The tools I offer in my classes are not just techniques, but means to help you connect more deeply with yourself. Over the years, I have traveled many paths and learned countless lessons. Now, I feel it’s time to bring all of these experiences together, to share them in a way that supports and nurtures others on their own journeys.
