My teaching ethos, The Tree of Yoga, symbolizes the nurturing force of yoga—like a mother who carries us and supports our growth into adulthood. The roots ground us, the trunk keeps us centered, and the branches reach outward, seeking knowledge gained through life’s experiences. Yoga is a deeply personal practice, shaped by our individual journeys. The tools I offer in my classes are not just techniques, but means to help you connect more deeply with yourself.
Over the years, I have traveled many paths and learned countless lessons. Now, I feel it’s time to bring all of these experiences together, to share them in a way that supports and nurtures others on their own journeys.
My pregnancy yoga classes help with breathing, birth preparation (using methods from hypnobirthing), relaxation, pelvic floor exercises, and maintaining flexibility and wellness for both you and your baby. As a trained Doula, I bring these tools into the classes.
The classes offer dedicated time and space to celebrate women, pregnancy, and birth—a trusting environment where women can focus on preparing their minds and bodies for the arrival of new life. They are supportive, fun, and provide many tools to assist you during labor.
These classes honor pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood.
The transition from being pregnant to caring for a baby is enormous. Rest and adjustment are vital for you both as you become attuned to your new life together. After giving birth, your spine needs to realign, and your pelvic muscles need to be strengthened. I have sent you reverse breathing and pelvic floor exercises to support this process.
Simple yoga routines can help you gradually and safely regain your posture, muscle tone, and strength. As you progress, your body may benefit from more dynamic yoga, and these classes will allow your individual needs to be addressed. The classes are designed for both mums and babies. I look after the babies while you enjoy the flow of yoga. As the babies grow, the classes include them as well, and we have fun with baby yoga flow. Many mums have found the classes so beneficial that they've continued attending until they return to work, and then transition into night classes.
For those of you who know me, you will know how excited these retreats makes me feel and to share time with you all. I am all about playing, trying something new and colouring outside the lines. For me yoga has been a form of expression and a road to a deep connection. Exploring the breathe, asanas, sounds , eating and tasting the beautiful food, sharing a glass of wine and enjoying one another .
The connection to something beyond the limits of our skin. It is all creation, it is all healing, it is all good for the soul. We are going to be diving into a deep, and freeing yoga practice, Aiming to marinade in the juice and allow ourselves the space to let go of whatever has been weighing us down so that we can leave the retreat inspired and rejuvenated with a renewed sense of wonder.
What is a Spiritual Salon?
Yoga is more than the asana (as we know). As I observe the classes , it would be nice to have time to share more layers to enrich our souls.
A space where we can discuss the ancient scriptures of Hatha Yoga, whilst we indulge in shared food ( The chapter that we will discuss , is sent out 2 weeks before).
Practice Pranayama , discuss how we feel with this practice and support via modification.
Meditation and Mantra : How we can use these tools within ourself practice.
Ending the evening with Yoga Nidra
